Abstract
Air transport, more than any other form of transportation, presents many restrictions to disabled people. The present study aims to explore the needs of persons with reduced mobility (PRM) and identify factors regarding the airport and the aircraft that inhibit them to travel in this type of transport. The passengers’ air rights and how it is being met for PRM were analyzed. A survey was applied to identify which are the main constraints at the airport and aircraft. The PRM rights are not always met. Several improvements are required to improve PRM’s flight experience on air transport.
