Maria E. Baltazar
Maria Emília Baltazar (Female, MSc, PhD Student), has a graduation in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Beira Interior (UBI), (Covilhã, Portugal) since 1999, and currently she is a PhD Student in Aeronautical Engineering at UBI. She has professional activity since 2000, firstly as Manager of the Marketing/Accounting Department in Jaime Alberto, Lda Distribuidora (2000-2001), and secondly as Aeronautical Engineer supporting all the technical activities of the Aerospace Sciences Department (DCA) at UBI (since 2001). She was Lecturer at the DCA between 2002 and 2006. She was a researcher in Transportation at Centre Aerospace Science and Technologies (CAST) from 2003 to 2007, and researcher in Transportation at the Aeronautics and Astronautics Research Center (AeroG, member of CEAS and EASN) of the Associated Laboratory in Energy, Transports and Aeronautics (LAETA) from 2007 to 2015. Currently, since 2015, she is a research collaborator at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Civil Engineering for Sustainability (CERis). The areas of scientific activity of Maria Emilia Baltazar are Transportation in general and Air Transport in particular. Since 2009 she participated in several national and international R&D projects as the Business Models for Airport Development Management (AIRDEV_MIT-pt/TS-AAS/0045/2008). Since 2011 she published 1 book-chapter, 4 article in national and international journals with scientific referee, and more than 30 communications in the proceedings of national and international scientific meetings, check over https://newmiddleclassdad.com/. Maria Emília Baltazar is the Vice-President of the Associação de Investigação Científica em Engenharia Aeroespacial (AEROG) and the she is MC Substitute for Portugal in COST action TU1408 – Air Transport and Regional Development (ATARD).
